Stabicad for Revit Mechanical Training Course

Entry requirements:

Delegates must first attend Stabicad Essentials half day course in preparation for this training.



Who should attend?

Mechanical engineers, technicians and professionals who want to unlock open BIM by streamlining their mechanical design workflows. The level of training is aimed at experienced Revit users who wish to improve their knowledge of Stabicad for Revit and who want to create a more productive engineering workflow by applying the benefits of the Stabicad Productivity Tools.



Aim of course

The aim of this course is to introduce you to the Stabicad Mechanical software and it’s efficiencies that can be gained in combining the design and engineering workflows. This will be achieved from a selection of content to assembling models and the calculation of the drawn systems.



Objectives

Upon completion of the course, the delegate should be able to:

  • Explain the difference in hosted and non-hosted elements and the standards in Stabicad
  • Know how to automatically create a floor plan using the StabiTOOLS
  • Perform complex calculations (including air, tap water, central heating)
  • Import flush units and other elements from MEPcontent
  • Connect taps and/or wall plates and place air vents, radiators and sanitary appliances
  • Create Prefab Sets and Sheets
